St. Andrew’s Academy is wired for the future! Each child has a technology component integrated into the curriculum. The children work with computers several times per week throughout all of their studies to increase their comfort with computing as a tool to make our lives easier. We devote specific time to keyboarding skills starting in the third grade. We have invested in educational software to augment the classroom studies. We also utilize the Microsoft Office Suite in order to gain familiarity with these productivity tools and utilize them for collaborative projects and in learning presentation skills.
St. Andrew’s has established an e-Academy initiative to further integrate technology into the daily life of the school. Some of the high points of this initiative include blogging, posting homework assignments online and collaborating with educational websites.
