Before & After School

The basic philosophy of the program is to provide an experience similar to what a child would experience at home with a creative, well rested, happy, and energetic parent. The Extended Day program is available to all students of St. Andrew’s Academy.

Our extended day is a free choice environment supervised by our caring, supportive and dynamic staff. Children start out with a snack and have the option of visiting with their friends, starting on their homework, reading alone, engaging in instructor-led activities or a host of other options. Here is the typical schedule that a child will follow in each of the two sessions:

Before School

    7:00 to 8:15 AM – Monday through Friday
    Children will be welcomed into the early morning setting where they may read, play, rest, listen to music, and enjoy a pleasant, calm beginning to their school day.

After School

    3:00 to 5:30 PM – Monday through Friday
    Children will have a snack, followed by a recess period. Children play outside, weather permitting, and/or stay inside creating art projects or playing games.

Parents have the option to register their children for 1-5 days per week or on a “drop-in” basis for unexpected circumstances. Please see below for the fee schedule associated with our extended day environment.
